Creative Services.

My work is family friendly, photogenic and relatable to many. This helps my clients feel proud of the work they have commissioned and excited to share the work with their audiences.

These core ideas come to life through my different services.

  • My community projects are about creating an accessible and safe space for the general public to get creative in simple ways. It is way to open the doors to creativity, so others can have it in their everyday. For my clients I can capture qualitative and quantitative data to feed back to them.

Pervious community project works include an immersive installation for the general public to escape to, a Selfie Factory to invite the public to get creative with a camera in quirky scenes and a mindful drawing activity for people to doodle their feelings about Covid -19.

My clients commission me as I am a very approachable person and not scared to start the conversation with anyone. I thrive on connections and understand that it can be scary or intimidating to make the first step; but I know the positive outcomes are worth it.

  • My role as a Creative Coach is used in workshops to inspire creativity using photography, I draw from experience that I use in own practice.

In my workshops I aim to break down mental barriers, remove stigma, build confidence and gain knowledge so participants finish feeling more confident.

In recent workshops consisting of struggling GCSE students, they were very resistant to the workshops. The workshops aim was to improve their art grade and get them enthusiastic about creating. By the end of four 1-hour sessions they were working independently at the creative stations using cameras confidently for their own work.

Other workshops include working with A-level art students on a 1-1 basis at Brentwood School, teaching how to use a DSLR to the public with Havering Changing, and giving talks about my career at University of Westminster.

  • As a Set Builder and Scenic Dresser, I am able to create something out of the ordinary in most locations. I created ’The Midnight Forest’ in a shopping centre, a Tea Party Photo Booth in a community hall and Magical Floating Clouds in a Forest.

I work with clients for community work; Havering Changing, No Collective and The Mercury to harbour community engagement with eye catching scenery.

I also work with musicians, video directors, and photographers to create unique sets and props for their ideas.

I do this by up-cycling, turning the old into something new. I use a huge range of materials such as using teddy bear stuffing as clouds- cardboard for mushrooms- expanding foam for floating islands and ivy found in the garden to create a secret nook. I bring an idea together with special effects like haze and lighting and fire.
