Course Itinerary

11:00 – 11:30 | Welcome + Setup

Arrive, get settled, and meet the group. We’ll outline the day, your goals, and get your camera ready to shoot.

11:30 – 12:00 | Your Camera, Demystified

A practical walkthrough of your camera’s screen, buttons, and key menus—so you know where everything is and how to change settings quickly.

12:00 – 1:00 | Shutter Speed in Action: Light Trails + Motion

Learn how shutter speed controls motion and exposure. You’ll create light trails and experiment with blur vs freeze to understand shutter speed creatively (and confidently).

1:00 – 2:00 | Lunch Break

Time to reset, chat, and recharge.

2:00 – 3:00 | Aperture + Depth of Field: “Small Worlds” Shooting

Understand aperture (f-stops) and depth of field through a fun, visual exercise. You’ll learn how to blur backgrounds, keep details sharp, and control the look of your images.

3:00 – 4:00 | ISO + High-Speed Photography

Learn when (and how) to raise ISO without fear, what “noise” really means, and how to shoot high-speed moments in manual mode.

Why This Works:

Every aspect of this workshop builds on the last, combining hands-on practice with your own camera, inspiration from renowned photographers, and immediate feedback. This isn't about memorising theory—it's about building muscle memory and confidence so you can handle any photographic situation independently.

The Result:

at the end of the day you'll walk away knowing your camera inside and out. You'll confidently adjust settings without thinking, create the images you envision, and never feel limited by your equipment again. Your Camera will finally fulfil its potential—and so will you.
